What I Do

I practice business law and intellectual property law. This includes forming corporations, LLCs and partnerships and also providing corporate advice, contract drafting and negotiation. I also provide trademark, copyright, entertainment, music and fashion law services.

I specialize in working with:

•  Entrepreneurs, Start-Ups, and Small Businesses •  Creative Businesses and Individuals

I don’t litigate (sue people), but I have a great team of litigators I turn to when my clients need them.
In order to become good at what I do, I have gained a lot of experience in trademark law, business formation, business law, as well as in fashion law, music law, and entertainment law.
I have lectured on launching businesses and protecting intellectual property at USC’s Marshall School of Business and at the non-profit California Lawyers for the Arts. I have lectured or spoken on panels about intellectual property law, entertainment law and / or entrepreneurialism at UCLA, Otis College of Art & Design, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and Santa Monica College.
What differentiates me from other good lawyers? A combination of business experience (including 8 years of running my own successful small business), practical legal know-how, good communication skills, and an easygoing manner.
